Years ago I purchased a sofa set and it's still in great condition. I prefer RC Willey to Ashley when it comes to bedroom and dining furniture. Also, RC Willey customer service is easier to deal with. If the price point is right and the furniture is what you like go for it. I will never shop there again after our dining room table nightmare. It was Covid, so we expected some delays but it took two years to get a table and six chairs delivered. The delivery guys dropped off a clearly-returned table that had scratches and dents all over it. They said no worries, just call and they’ll replace it. Two more times over the next year they showed up with a table in even worse condition and were confused when they unloaded it. I spent dozens of hours on the phone with them and many days off of work for failed deliveries or rescheduled on the day of. I refused to pay for the table until I got the undamaged one I ordered and they tried to send it to collections saying that it was replaced already. Ashley Furniture is cheap junk. Most quality furniture stores are locally owned, not national chains. The exception would be places like Pottery Barn or West Elm. Estate sales, antique stores, locally owned places etc are much better options to look for a quality solid wood set. I would ask or look around in my local or state subs for recommendations . Not sure how much of a rush you are in to get the furniture, but the items from Ashley Furniture can also be found on 1StopBedrooms.com. I went into Ashley about 4 years ago and was quoted over $5k for a bedroom set I wanted. I got the same exact set from this website with two additional pieces for $2k less. If you find something you love in store it's worth checking out. The lead time then was about two months but I know with COVID you can't find anything anywhere. More on reddit.com
