Yes your correct PRIME X570-PRO does not have Flashback. Download the latest Bios file from ASUS support to a USB that is formatted to FAT32 single partition and empty. Rename the Bios file to PX570PRO.CAP Bios will recognize your USB when in EZ Flash3 utility. More on forums.tomshardware.com

I’ve never tried updating the bios on my builds before, so I am totally new to what risks I might run into. I don’t NEED to update, as I’m still using my 3700x and 6900xt, which work fine. But I want to try Smart Access Memory and need a newer version of bios to enable it.
Are there risks with this set up/mobo when updating the bios? What’s the easiest process to update and what would you suggest I do as a precaution before updating?
Any help or experience would be appreciated!

posted a little while ago about my PC. It was a CPU issue, but I got a new one/upgrade, but the bios isn't up to date for it. What on earth do I do? cpu: can't check, some rysen 7
Right after seemingly successful upgrading from bios version 1407 to 4602, my computer is bricked (i.e. no screen output on both my graphics-card and directly on the motherboard, no bleeps, etc). The cpu q-led burns. I've tried resetting the bios both via battery and clrtc header. I've also tried recovery via crashfree (were ypu put the file on a usb disk and hope for the best it seems), but no system reaction.
Ive run this system for 2 years, one thing I do know, the cpu is compatible and in good order (atleast right before the upgrade). I'm also 99% confident I provided the correct firmware to the bios (which should complain if I didn't).
Any tips on what to do?
