2023 SX-P Audio Problem
This just turned into an advert against extended warranties. I thought the 'electronics are bulletproof' comment was pretty comical. I was like you, and would never buy an extended warranty. Until I saw the sheer amount of electronics and failure points in this car. I am a software engineer with a degree in computer engineering. I hate saying that out loud, but it pertains to this situation. This was the first time I bought an extended warranty in my life. Working with electronics I have learned they can and will shit the bed at random. Especially when you have thousands of failure points, it's just mathematically going to happen. With the current cost of parts and labor, I only need one sensor to break out of warranty to recoup cost. Using your old cars as a reference is not accurate, as older cars do not have a quarter of the points of failure these newer cars have. Using that logic I would not have bought the warranty either, but things are changing. These cutting edge fully loaded cars are fully loaded with things to break.

Why does the P sound has a "funny" conotation when said on a microphone compared to other letters?
Certain consonant sounds hit the diaphragm of the mic really hard causing a pop noise.
Pop filters are there to prevent that. They can be built in to vocal microphones, a foam cover or a separate circular fabric in front of the mic.

For people asking! This is a 3-way speaker with a 12” woofer, and horn-loaded tweeter and mids. (40Hz - 20kHz) We drew design cues from old altecs, jbls, braun, mesa boogie guitar amps, and wassily chairs.
Crossover points are still to be determined by our tech.
