I am in the middle of a remodel on my one and only small bathroom. The project is a complete gut, and a new stack, lots of electrical ect.
As it sits im at $210/sqft with contractor labor included
I went pretty high end on all the fixtures and finishes ( kohler purist, porcelain tile), which drove the cost up, contractors/ labor /consumables has come in at about 40% of the budget.
I'm curious to hear what $/sqft other users bathrooms were.

How much does it cost to do a DIY bathroom remodel?
There is no easy answer for DIY bathroom remodel costs, since they are highly unique to each homeowner. With that being said, a DIY bathroom remodel can cost anywhere from $2,000 to over $10,000, depending on what features you are renovating and your DIY methods. Modernize does not recommend trying to tackle a major bathroom renovation DIY, as unforeseen emergencies can easily arise that require immediate attention from a professional. You also risk incurring costly damage to the space that can cost more to fix than it would to hire a professional in the first place. If you are looking to simply install a new faucet or showerhead, this may be feasible to do on your own.
