I purchased the 100% French Flax Linen Bedding Set from Bed Threads in December. This is Oatmeal and Olive. The colors are definitely a little less bright than I expected, but overall I’m happy with the colors. At first I was a little shocked by the feel of them; I know “linen gets softer” but they were pretty rough. I do think they’re gotten softer over time but has anyone had these for 6 months or longer? I have Bed Threads in a couple colors, including sage. It’s lasted me a few years already, and there’s no signs it’ll wear out soon. I do rotate between a few sets, and I only hang dry after washing. More on reddit.com

After seeing their ads come up on my instagram for years, I decided to order some linen sheets from Bed Threads in early September. I ordered a bed set for around $500 after reading reviews here and was excited to receive them. I placed my order, received an automated confirmation email, with the promise of a UPS tracking number, which didn't come. I waited a week, then e-mailed the company. No response for days. Finally, they emailed me my tracking number. Very soon after, a UPS person shows up asking me to pay a further $300 in duties and customs! I excitedly opened my packages to find that they had sent 3 fitted sheets, pillow covers and a duvet cover with a giant hole in it and the buttons fell off days later. After spending $800, I really could have cried. I emailed pictures, as there is no way to get ahold of this company by phone, you're at their mercy. There was no offer of a refund, but they've apparently sent a replacement. Again, no email with any tracking number. I asked for it, and finally received a tracking number, but my package has been sitting in waiting for 20 days for me to pay more in duties, as the company hasn't done so (they offered to). Absolutely horrendous experience. I do NOT recommend this company. Save your money. This is a poor excuse for a company and not worth your time or money at ALL. More on reddit.com

I have tried a handful of different linen companies, although I’ve never tried Bed Threads because of those issues you mentioned. The closest in color combos would probably be I Love Linen, which is an Australian brand. They’re not the softest out of the box, but they do soften over time and I find them to be incredibly long lasting. Like, I’ve used their sheets for multiple years and have never dealt with holes. On my bed right now, I have a Quince fitted sheet and a Cultiver duvet cover/pillows. Cultiver is so soft, so luxurious, with great color options but because it’s pre-washed, I’m curious to see how long they’ll last. Quince is so far so good, they also have a bunch of color options but I’m hesitant to recommend them just yet because I’m definitely worried about how the fitted sheet will hold up especially because they are so much cheaper. As an aside - one thing I’ve learned that with linen fitted sheets, you really have to rotate them. If you use the same one constantly, they’ll eventually rip. This is why I’m using Quince as my cheap fitted sheet and not Cultiver, lol. Do I rotate mine? No. Have I definitely had some nice linen sheets rip? Yes. Don’t be like me! More on reddit.com
