Metabo that are the high amp industrial are the toughest grinders in the world as far as i am concerned. The lower amp metabo sold in box stores i am not sure on. Probably good but cant be as good as the 13 amp 4.5 in that i am around daily. More on reddit.com

When you are already in Europe you already have the best ones anyways. Metabo, Bosch, and Hilti. Those three brands would just about survive the nuclear apocalypse. We even buy them here in the US. More on reddit.com

You want pretty much any 5" corded grinder. All grinders come with a side handle, almost none have variable speed aside from very high end grinders. 5/8" 11 arbors are going to be universal on grinders. Cordless grinders are more expensive, less powerful, eat through batteries, and are not really worth it outside of something like structural steel work. Milwaukee grinders are fine, but I would recommend a makita rat tail like the GA5010Z, as they are more comfortable to use for a long period of time. Grinders are some of the most dangerous common power tools out there. They can kick in multiple directions, and wheels can explode. Install the guard that comes with the grinder and be extremely careful, especially with cut-off discs.
