What the title say. Iโm looking for some good arcade racing games Iโm open to suggestions. So far Iโve played NFS: MW, NFS: Hot pursuit remake, motorstorm series and midnight club if that helps

I know the list looks a little wild right now, but I'm sure I also missed quite a few. I will do a restructuring on a later point of time, when more games have joinded the list. As of now, I've not played all of the titles. I created the list because I wanted a place to go to for when I feel like playing a good arcade racer without having to look to much. I added a lot of games that I haven't played yet, but are considered as good or even classics (like the Motorstorm or Midnight Club series). So please feel free to comment more reccomendations or contribute to the list via GitHub.

I like to play arcade racing games like Burnout, Wipeout or Split/Second. Since I'm in the process of switching to PC for gaming: what games are available on PC that are similar to the ones I mentioned?
I can recommend the Flatout series, which is absolutely fantastic (apart from Flatout 3, which was made by another developer - avoid at all costs!). The first game in the series has rather realistic driving physics which may be too challenging for some players, but also had fun minigames and destruction derbies. It still looks good, despite being twelve years old. At the time, it was described as the Half Life 2 of racing games due to its complex physics engine and destructible environments. Part 2 went entirely arcade (but is still not an easy game) and Ultimate Carnage is essentially a remake - better visuals, more cars on the track.
My absolute favourites over the years in no particular order are:
-
Flatout
-
Flatout 2
-
1nsane (GoG has it.)
-
ReVolt (You have to pirate this one if you didn't buy it on GoG before they stopped selling it.)
-
Burnout Paradise
-
Need for Speed Underground 2
-
Need for Speed Most Wanted (2005)
-
Sonic All-Stars Racing Transformed (Kart racer that is often said to be even better than Mario Kart.)
-
TrackMania Nations Forever (Free2Play)
Honorary mentions to Rage and Mad Max for being excellent mixes of FPS/TPS and open world racing games with some RPG elements.
