Not necessarily in terms of scientific accuracy, but in terms of believability. Though scientific accuracy would be a decent tiebreaker.
2 and 4 are the flesh recreation of Sue and a still from Prehistoric Planet. 1 is a stock photo, and 3 I can't locate the origin of, but I believe the largest quality version is on a French website.
I'm really stuck between 1 and 4. Obviously we can't really envision these things, but I suspected that they would have a frightening quality to them, since we seem to have evolved some ability to sense and fear the physical traits of predatory animals. Both of those images have that. The first one has a sort-of panting, dog-like quality to it that seems good to me, though the yellow eye I think is a bit too demonic / dramatic for me. I'd love to see it with a more normal eye. 4 I think best fits my image of a "crocodile elephant" which I try to use when I picture what they may have been like in real like. The longer head has that crocodilean quality.
Obviously, scientifically, since it's from Prehistoric Planet also, I guess #4 is the most accurate and I'd have to say that's the best one. But #1 is damned good. Really damned good.
