They're both on the heavier side and were comfortable enough trying in the store to consider inviting their friends to sleep on it (they're in their late 50s-early 60s, as are their friends, so they have some standards). I used to sleep on their twin sized LYCKSELE, but haven't spent a full night on their LYCKSELE MURBO (which us now only full size). I have napped on it and it's fairly comfortable. If you're planning on using it regularly, you can even fit a rolled topper underneath. But as most sofa-beds, probably not the best for every-day usage. U would go with a daybed in that case, one thar can turn into a king bed. I have the Lycksele, and had sleep on it for long durations (weeks) with no issues. It's fine if you go with the firmest mattress IMO. Had that thing for 5+ years now and survived two movings, so I think it's quite good. Also looking at the mattress, it seems PS and Lycksele uses the same kind of mattresses (Lovas/Murbo)? Just different sizes as neither is standard. One criteria I have is that it should look good as a sofa. The PS looks rather like a bed folded up instead. More on reddit.com

The Friheten sofa bed is my personal favorite. Purchased one when I was renting with my sister for a couple years and then when I moved in with my boyfriend I got a new one in 2015. Very durable with pets and super comfy! I have yet to actually buy one, but looked through them pretty thoroughly at my local ikea the other day. My takes: - balkarp: really firm for sitting and sleeping. Also really short. - friheten: on display models can generally feel the frame through the cushions when sitting. Seems decent as a bed, but not that nice as a sofa - vretstorp: seems really firm as a sofa. Reviews are pretty bad. -morabo: still seems pretty firm as a sofa, but should be decent as cushions soften. Sleeping surface is a tad firm too, but at least it's spacious and flat. This is the one I'd get if I had to choose right now. -finnala/harlanda: relatively cushy as sofas, and fold-out mattress is pretty soft too. Definitely best sofa-mode sleeper. What worries me is that the slats under the top 2/3rds of the mattress seem to flex a fair amount, while the bar 2/3rds of the way down is totally rigid. Worried this can create a bit of a weird sagging bed situation that pull-out sleepers seem to be somewhat known for, especially as the mattress wears. Maybe it'd be fine, though! Hard to say for sure without actually sleeping on it. Good luck!
