Yes, they've been around a long time. PopSocket brand sells their own official with a MagSafe base with poposcket mount built in. Or you can go to Amazon and find magnetic plates that you stick your own poposocket to. For example this is the one I got years ago (no longer available) but there are lots like it on Amazon. Lots of case manufacturers also sell MagSafe magnetic grips of different styles like rings. They aren't my preference (I prefer PopSocket) but just letting you know they are out there. I usually go without it but sometimes, especially when lying down I like to have a pop socket so I prefer the MagSafe so it can go on and off and I can use it on a MagSafe charger or battery pack.
