Not all back pain is the same. Mattress stores always fuck you over but in your case going to one and actually laying on the mattresses is going to be so much better for your back than just rolling with suggestions from Internet people whose back pain may or may not be caused by what's causing yours that it's worth the extra money. I know 20 minutes on a mattress in a store isn't the same as sleeping on it, but that info is so much more valuable than basically random suggestions. Back pain as a side sleeper is the worst. I haven't tried Boring myself but I've been reading a lot of different mattresses, you should check out r/Mattresses , lots of helpful threads. I've seen similar posts where people said the hybrid helped with back pain because of that balanced support and simple build. The medium-firm feel sounds like it hits that sweet spot between pressure relief and not letting your hips sink too much. Tbh, if everything else has been too gimmicky, a simple mattress might be exactly what works. Curious to hear if anyone has first-hand experience. More on reddit.com
