January 18, 2021 - No, Costco won’t grind meat for you. ... Invest in a meat grinder.

Weston Meat Grinder on sale at Costco. Worth the price? - Pitmaster Club
LEM fan boy here. Next year I'm getting the 25lb mixer to attach to the #8 grinder. ... I have this one from MEAT! It’s served me extremely well for a couple years. It’s more than powerful enough for my needs, and will get through a couple lbs of chuck in less than a minute.

Does anyone have feedback on this product, before I drop $90?
I plan to use it to slice smoked brisket, pastrami, bacon, and Korean barbecue. But I’m sure I’ll use it for a bunch of other things around the kitchen too. Thanks in advance

Just based on the design, the bed length and width are limiting for longer cuts of meat. The bed is typically 6-7 inches. I make bacon from the pork bellies at Costco. I divide them into thirds. Unless I cut the small slabs in half, they will not fit in the length the bed slides back and forth. Clean up on these isn’t too bad. But you do have to take the blade off to get to where all the bits fall into the crevices. And you really should keep it clean after every use. Blade is very sharp so mind your fingers, patience is a virtue.

My buddy and I have the same one but from Amazon. He’s sliced over 1000 pounds of bacon on his and I have done probably 50-100 pounds on mine. It’s good for the price I play dangerous and take off the guide and all and hand slice my bacon so I don’t have to cut it and slice it. I end up with about a pound or so of scrap bacon. The first time you’ll waste a lot more trying to get it dialed in. The depth gauge is fine but the metal part bends as you press for pressure to slice it. Overall good for the price and try not to slice your finger off.
