Hi, I am looking for recommendations for bed frames with good storage under it. My girlfriend and I are moving in together and neither of our current beds are going to cut it.
I have the IKEA Malm currently which has drawers but the problems are:
The storage isn’t actually very big. The drawers are wide but not very tall, and if you stuff them then they’re hard to pull in and out.
because of the layout of my room, the bed has to be placed in a corner against a wall with a bedside table next to it, so I can’t access the “top” drawers without moving all my furniture.
The bed SQUEAKS! SO! MUCH! It’s so creeky and noisy!
Any suggestions for a good solid bed frame that doesn’t squeak and has lots of space underneath it for storage?

If you have a high budget this time (as opposed to Malm), Pottery Barn makes a line of beds that I think are intended for teenagers (at least from their advertisement styles) but they basically have entire wardrobes underneath. Keep in mind that that the issue of pulling them out to get stuff will always be a bit of an issue if you're truly using the space under the bed, because of the dimensions of a bed, so what that means is that you need to go taller, meaing the bed sits higher up (and you will want to not have a boxspring, for example, because the bed itself will likely be high enough). Alternatively, I have done this by getting a bed that is fairly tall, with a very basic design so that there is space underneath - or even getting risers so you get an extra 3-5 inches of space, it doesn't look particularly great but for $10 or whatnot its very effective - and then putting my own drawers and storage underneath it. I used a bedskirt to hide it. This was a situation where one side was against the wall as well.
