My iPhone 16 Pro Max screen already cracked just one month after getting it. I know it comes with Ceramic Shield but clearly that’s not enough. I used a cheap screen protector and now I really regret it.
After spending so much on the phone, I’m definitely not putting one of those low quality 3 pack protectors on it again. I’m looking for the best iPhone 16 Pro Max screen protector something high quality, easy to install and that doesn’t interfere with Face ID.
I’m also open to privacy screen protector options, but only if they don’t make the screen too dark, affect clarity, or mess with touch sensitivity.
If you’ve found a screen protector for the iPhone 16 Pro Max or iPhone 16 Pro that actually holds up please share the name and your experience with it. I’d really appreciate the recommendation just trying to avoid another expensive mistake.

Does the iPhone 16e need a screen protector?
As noted in our iPhone 16e review, it's worth equipping Apple's latest phone with a reliable screen protector.
The iPhone 16e's previous-generation Ceramic Shield glass display is less durable than the screens of the best iPhones, and even the flagship iPhone 16 models are susceptible to accidental damage.
We highly recommend screen protectors as an accessory for any new smartphone purchase. They're relatively affordable and convenient compared to the cost and hassle of screen repairs or replacement.
Our extensive testing of the best iPhone cases broadly demonstrates that it's also worth adding a case to the phone for comprehensive protection. See our guide to the best iPhone 16e cases.
What should I look for in an iPhone 16e screen protector?
As with any of the best phones, your primary consideration for an iPhone 16e screen protector should be that it is adequately durable without affecting usability.
In our testing experience, we vastly prefer tempered glass screen protectors over their plastic counterparts. Tempered glass models provide better responsiveness and longer-lasting protection.
When selecting a screen protector, it's imperative to choose a model that includes an installation kit (as each of our picks does) to help you avoid unsightly, obstructive bubbles or the waste or damage of inaccurate placement during installation.
Will an iPhone 16 screen protector fit the iPhone 16e?
While the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16e are listed with 6.1-inch screens, the iPhone 16e is slightly shorter and has thicker bezels than the iPhone 16. As such, a screen protector for the iPhone 16 will not properly fit the iPhone 16e, and vice versa.

Hi,
iPhone 16 Pro Max on the way ... I have read a lot of topics on here about screen protectors. This is what I found out so far:
Spigen EZ Fit: has currently problems with sticking on the edges, bad customer support
ZAGG: expensive and some report problems
Belkin: expensive and collects dust like crazy
Torras: black borders around
ESR: Rainbow effects, sharp edges
Flolab: Has problems with the slightly curved screens and the bezels (they said update is coming soon)
...
So right now I am not even sure what the current situation is with these protectors. They range from 5$ to 50$ a piece and they seem to get updated in the next couple of weeks because they had problems with apples thinner borders.
What is the current best bang/buck screen protector for 16 Pro (Max)?
EDIT: Please don't recommend brands or modells of protectors you use on your iphone 15s or 14s or so on because we are talking about 16 Pro (Max) here ... It seems that companies have troubles with the new 16 (!) model specs.
