Using a Bose soundbar 700 with a base module700 and rears. Thinking of upgrading to something that has Dolby atmos built in. Considering waiting until October when JBl releases their newest model jbl bar1300mk2. Not sure if that will be the most bang for my buck and I’m really not worried about price if the quality speaks for itself
In a larger room and looking for something that is clear but also gets loud without losing too much quality. Use the sound bar daily for music and tv/movies. Don’t really use it too much when I’m gaming or I keep it rather low on the volume

January 7, 2021Best possible set up for Samsung Q800A + Apple TV 4K + Mi Tv (one eARC port)
The apple tv does not need to go into the earc. It can plug into the spare hdmi port on the soundbar. eArc is only needed between the tv and the soundbar.

I have tested both systems. And I agree with your verdict on both systems. Bose needs to fix their sub popping issues. Some people say that issue is because of the wifi router interfering the signal between bar and sub. So hard wiring the sub to bar should solve the popping issue. For sonos I am only disappointed by its dialogue performance. But overall it is not so bad. So I ended up returning the bose and kept the sonos for my bedroom where I won’t be pushing the volume so high. With that said, Best overall system is Samsung Q990C. I have it in my living room. It provides the best cinematic experience. I know pretty much everyone has said this about 990C on this sub but they are not wrong. It’s definitely the best in my honest opinion. I hope you find the system whichever suits your needs. :) More on reddit.com
