Recommendations for Canadian Web Hosting? Or do I just build it myself?
I've just had to cancel a purchase for web hosting via GreenGeeks, as while they looked to be a Canadian company, they aren't. Anyone have any recommendations for web hosting companies that are Canadian owned? Don't need anything fancy, just shared hosting for a WordPress website. Thanks in advance!
I'm starting an e-commerce business and had planned to go with shopify (easy set-up, liked the features and web builder for the most part) however after going through the payment options it looks like their cheapest e-commerce hosting options are around $50 CAD per month. This seems absurdly high and I was wondering if anyone has experience with web hosts that offer similiar features to shopify but are a bit cheaper. I'm open to wordpress but have limited technical experience when it comes to web design.

What kind of site are you hosting (WordPress, phpBB, custom software, etc) or what is your use case?
-
This part is tricky. I have experience in coding but my skills are basic html/css and sql, so i'm not sure if wordpress would be a good option here.

Did you read the sidebar/check out the hosts listed there? I've personally vetted these companies and their services are a good fit for 99% of people.
-
I checked it out, I'm not really interested in a U.S. hosting service and wanted to see if anyone had experience with Canadian hosts.
