Why Use A Work Headset For Calls?
Difference of DECT Headsets Vs Bluetooth Headsets?
Why should I get headphones instead of using my smartphone for conference calls?
For one thing, having a headset improves ergonomics because it frees up your hands and allows you a larger range of movement. Call quality is also better with a headset because you can hear through both ears rather than one, and speakerphone is typically low quality too. Additionally, if your headset has a dedicated boom microphone, your colleagues will be able to hear you crystal clear.
I've tried out a bunch of headsets over the 10 years I've worked from home as a senior software engineer and want to know what you all think are great for meetings and why?
Hey everyone, I know this question gets asked a few times but I have never seen the request to be over ear. I saw a lot of people advise the Jabra Evolve 75 but I don't want my headphone to be against my ear I want it to be over my ear. Price is not a problem, I still have a solid amount in my work budget to get it. What would you guys recommend?
Im now finding myself doing a lot of travelling across EMEA (uk based) and need to have teams meetings in transit often at busy airports (unavoidable).
Does anyone have any recommendations for the best noise cancelling headphones that will cut out background noise for my mic when i talk too?
What do you use?
Edit. I dont have apple products so airpods are out.
