I use a separate microphone and audio pipeline to filter out background voices and music from the living room, so I use AirPods Pro in transparency mode and love their sound and that you can barely see them. I strongly dislike using them as a microphone because it lowers the quality of the sound considerably.

Hey everyone, I know this question gets asked a few times but I have never seen the request to be over ear. I saw a lot of people advise the Jabra Evolve 75 but I don't want my headphone to be against my ear I want it to be over my ear. Price is not a problem, I still have a solid amount in my work budget to get it. What would you guys recommend?

if you plan to use it in a busy office environment definitely go for one with boom mic, makes a lot of difference in meetings. Seems like jabra evolve 2 85 is the best over ear. I’m currently using poly voyager 2 and it’s ok, but on ear.

Im now finding myself doing a lot of travelling across EMEA (uk based) and need to have teams meetings in transit often at busy airports (unavoidable).

If you’re travelling a lot then either AirPods Pro 2 or the Sony WF1000-XM4. I have the later which has great battery which helps if you’re travelling. Not sure on call quality, it might be the AirPods….but there are a tonne of side by side reviews to check
