Mozilla Firefox Compatibility - Password Manager - Bitwarden Community Forums
June 19, 2023 - Is Password Manager compatible with Firefox browser ? Can both products coexist in Windows so that if the desired password is not found first in Firefox only then will Password Manager be accessed ? This approach allows for EZ implementation but Firefox’s password mgr may have to be turned off to allow it.

You should, however, go back to Firefox. This was a Bitwarden blunder, not Mozilla's fault (sure, Mozilla could've taken less time to approve the extension update). Firefox is overall a better, more privacy focused browser than current mainstream alternatives (ie. Chrome, Edge, Opera). Also, don't turn off auto-updates unless you really know what you're doing. You're supposed to always be using the latest version (except when they're buggy, of course), and it's easy to let things out of date (and thus vulnerable) if you forget to manually update them.

Sorry for the issues, all. Mozilla took forever to approve the update this time.

Update to Firefox addon removed option to open bitwarden screen in a new window - Password Manager - Bitwarden Community Forums
February 14, 2024 - I am trying to log into my account in the Firefox addon but the option to open the bitwarden screen in a different browser window has been removed. I authenticate via email and this has honestly completely broken Bitwarden for me. I can’t click on anything else because the Bitwarden screen closes, which causes an infinite loop of never being able to authenticate.

Need help with auto-fill problems in Firefox - Password Manager - Bitwarden Community Forums
January 13, 2024 - I’m not sure what we are supposed to compare here. All seemed to work well in my Firefox browser until moving everything to Windows 11 computer. Not sure if that’s related, but now when I’m prompted to log in on a web site (sometimes) I see the Bitwarden icon in the username windows, click on it and add then continue but Bitwarden doesn’t appear in the password field.

Do passkeys work with the Firefox addon? - Password Manager - Bitwarden Community Forums
September 12, 2024 - My Github credentials are in BitWarden and I can log into GitHub no problem. But when I create a passkey in GitHub, BitWarden doesn’t do anything at all, the passkey creation process just sits there with a message saying ‘waiting for your browser addon to respond’. Does this work at all?
