This will drop the playback sampling rate to 8 kHz or 16 kHz and only allow mono audio. To put it simply, this product will be difficult or impossible to find due to Bluetooth's limitations resulting in a bad user experience for the usage you're looking for. I have a three pole 3.5mm plug coming from my headset that I plug into my xbox controller for wireless audio.
I would like to get a separate Bluetooth 5+ transmitter that can do that same thing. It would have to be able to transmit my voice and receive audio over Bluetooth at the same time. Anyone seen anything like that? The basic Bluetooth transmitters that I've found do not support an external microphone.

I'm looking for an adapter to convert a wired gaming headset to wireless for making phone calls. I can find adapters that convert the audio stream, but they rely on a built-in microphone on the Tx/Rx rather than the microphone on the headset.
Ideally, it would take a 3.5mm TRRS input and convert it to Bluetooth to wirelessly function. It doesn't have to have a battery as it can be USB or DC powered.
I can't find anything that send/receives the mic stream, just the headphone audio.
