my friend needed my help to register his device Bose Portable Home Speaker in Bose music app. I followed the instructions and got the device connected to the app. The device needed to install the update and i tried updating and it was very slow. While the device is still updating, he needed the phone because something important call came and he disconnected his device from his phone (it got disconnected as well in the app). The problem came here... i tried to connect the device to the app again but it seems having a problem connecting to the app. I pressed and immediately said "your device have problem connecting" (something like that but i dont remember anymore). I tried to reset the connection of phone and the device and it sstill doesnt work. The bluetooth works but the connecting to the app was the problem. Please help me and thank you.
The app won’t even open this is ridiculous
I got my NCH 700's on release day but have been struggling to get them connected to the Bose Music app. I found this response today on the Bose forums. I tried it out and got my Pixel 2 XL to connect immediately.
"Go to Settings>Apps and Notifications>Bose Music>Permissions>Location and turn it on. I had also given permission when installing the app but it was not on. Giving the app location permission immediately let me connect through the app and everything is working fine."
Credit to AdamN7 on the Bose community! I absolutely love these headphones
Has anyone had the issue where their bose music app stopped connecting? My headphones are connected to my phone and working but the app says the headphones are not available. It’s very strange and little annoying when trying to switch what computer my headphones are connected to.
