I recently bought a Bose Soundlink Flex. It comes with a cable with a USB Type C connection on one end and a USB Type A on the other. No specs on the charger other than 5 volts. And it’s very short.

Can I use the same 20W charger I use for my Apple USB Type C devices. I’m hoping to get a faster charge and consolidate travel gear.

Can't open my device and it won't charge when I plug it in a wall charger, I asked for Bose customer support and the only option they have is replacement since the warranty already expired and that just sucks coz they didn't even offer other options to fix the problem.

i have the same issue using a higher powered charger, using a 12 watt (2x 12watt for total of 24watt) charger works perfectly for it but a Samsung fast charger, or super fast charger just don't work. try a low watt charger and if it doesn't work replacement is a good option.

Bose sound link flex was run dead. It’s a red light when it trying to turn it on. When trying to charge it, it doesn’t indicate it’s charging instead just starts playing this melodic beeping noise. Like beep boop beep, then beep beep boop beep.

Can it be fixed?

I keep mine constantly connected to a desktop computer as an external speaker via Bluetooth; always connected to power via USB. I have disabled the auto-off feature, and it works well every time the computer comes out of sleep. But mine makes those sequential beeping sounds, like it's trying to tell me something. It doesn't happen often, but when it does, I have no idea what it means.
