Business card holder?
Stylish leather card holder
So happy I can be of help here!
First, on Hard Graft - their stuff looks tremendous. I love to just go and drool over their site and stare at the pretty things. I mean... I dream of this baby more than I dream of any woman. However, while their gear isn't 'look but don't touch' expensive, it is up there.
I bought the iPad case seconds after buying my iPad. In fact, I might have bought my iPad just so I could buy the case. It's beautifully made, and almost as pretty in person as it is in their photos. I've had it for about a year and it has held up fine, although it also hasn't been through any kind of challenging conditions.
It's not BIFL, though. The stitching is fancy but not 'tough.' In fact, because it's so nice, I find myself going to extra lengths to protect it. Those parts of it that are a little worn - the loops that hold the iPad corners, for example - have not worn particularly well.
So if you want a very nice card slip for a year, go Hard Graft. But a card slip will get beaten up, and I would be surprised if it still looked like that nice come its first birthday.
Ok, that out of the way... I also love card holders, and also rarely carry cash or coins. I have two. One that I use every day and one that I use for somewhat fancier occasions. I consider both to be BIFL purchases.
My 'weekday' holder, which I've had for about three years, is the most simple thing imaginable - one strip of very good leather from the Viberg Boot Company in Victoria, BC. The leather wears beautifully over time, looking aged rather than abused. There are, of course, no stitches to break. It's ultra slim, the cards never fall out, and I can't imagine the day when I would get rid of it. I'm happy to post up a photo of my well worn one if you'd like.
My 'weekend' holder is from Barrett Alley. I have a different kind of leather than any of the ones on the site, I think it may have been limited edition or something, but it's similar in style to the 'Disciple.' There's some good info on the site about caring for their items, but I can't imagine this thing ever really breaking down. That said, I met the dude behind the company at an event (Mr. Barrett? Mr. Alley?) and he assured me that they offered a Hermes-style guarantee: If the stitching failed, they would be happy to have the wallet sent in and restitched.
Hope that's all helpful! Long live the card slip movement!

Best Wallets And Cardholders?
I just bought the MUJI card holder for about $5. It's sleek, aluminum, and fits comfortably in even my tightest, most metro pants pockets. But the thing only holds four damn cards.
OH MY GOD IT'S FOR BUSINESS CARDS I seriously just realized this
