Where can I buy a laptop for a good price?
There are several places where you can buy a laptop for a good price. Here are a few options:
1. Online retailers: At Walmart, we often have competitive prices on laptops and frequently offer deals and discounts, especially during the holiday seasons.
2. Manufacturer's website: Many laptop manufacturers have their own online stores where you can buy laptops directly from them. These websites often have special promotions or sales events that can help you get a good price.
3. Refurbished or certified pre-owned laptops: Retailers offer refurbished laptops that have been tested, cleaned, and r

What is the difference between a laptop and a Chromebook?
Laptops and Chromebooks are both types of portable computers, but there are some noticeable differences. The main difference is their operating systems. Laptops typically run on Windows or macOS, while Chromebooks use Google's Chrome OS.
Chrome OS is a user-friendly system that relies on internet access and Google apps like Drive, Docs, and Sheets. Chromebooks are suitable for basic tasks like browsing, streaming, and using these Google apps. They are often more budget-friendly and common in schools because they're easy to use and start up quickly.
Laptops can have stronger hardware and run

What should you consider when buying a laptop?
To select a suitable laptop for your needs:
Set a budget: Laptops are available in various price ranges, so consider how much you're willing to spend.
Identify the purpose: For school or work, good performance and battery life might be important. For gaming or video editing, better graphics capabilities could be necessary.
Evaluate size and weight: Smaller laptops tend to offer portability, while larger ones often have bigger screens. Determine which aspect is more significant to you.

Are open Box laptops and tablets from best buy or Canada Computers good?
If a laptop is not brand new, then it is either: Opened and not used - Literally new. Used and functioning - It has been used (can range from days to years), and is still in good condition. Refurbished - This means that either devices' life was expended until a part broke and had to replaced, or a part in the device broke early and had to be replaced. In my experience, opened and not used is literally the same as brand new but has to be cheaper because a opened product has a naturally lowed value. Used and functioning is questionable depending on how old the product is, because even if it is advertised as good condition, you never know how the owner used to treat the device (though it is guaranteed to work when you purchase it). In this case be aware of the manufactured date of the device, and any specified issues with it. I used a lot of refurbished devices because of the price difference between a brand new one. I've bought monitors, laptops, desktops, phones. The only issue I've ever had with refurbished are phones because the batteries were degraded and chargers were never original. This is something to be aware of for laptops as well, because the laptop batteries may have been pushed to its limit many times depending on the age of the device. Like the above category, they are guaranteed to be working when you receive it (or you should demand a refund), but be mindful that refurbished devices were likely used a lot more than used and functioning, to the point where many components of the device may have been replaced or are currently degraded from heavy use or neglectful treatment. I'd personally prefer a brand new or opened and not used laptop because of the numerous issues you could encounter with used portable devices. But it is certainly still an option, just make sure you purchase from a reputable store. More on reddit.com
Best options for computers (especially laptops)
I am thinking about getting a new mini PC and the last one I got was from Amazon, although it's a Beelink, which is Chinese as far as I understand. I won't use Amazon for that again. I would think the best option would be buying non-American brands like MSI, ASUS (Taiwanese) and Lenovo (Chinese) at stores such as Canada Computers or Vuugo (Canada-based), but someone could correct me if I'm wrong. In person shopping or store pickup, no issue but they were super, super heavy on trying to push very expensive insurance. For online delivery orders, avoid like the plague.
