Is photography more of a "its not the price of the camera that makes photos good, but how someone utilizes their camera"? Absolutely. There's a modern fetish for high [technical] image quality... But most of the people pushing for that wouldn't recognize a high quality photograph even if it hit them in the face. I mean, take a look at this image (taken with my DJI Mini 2 drone), or this image (taken with my Canon T2i) - both of which are (by pure technical specs) inferior to your T7. Sure, your T7 will never beat them technically. But great images aren't made by the camera. Great images are made with eye, brain, and hands of the photographer. With patience and practice, it's more than possible to equal or beat them artistically.
