August 20, 2025 - I like using the CinemaGamut_CanonLog3-to-DCIP3_DCI_65_FF_Ver.2.0.cube LUT since it brightens up the video and makes the colors pop 😀. On the left, we have the raw footage, the middle photo is using my favorite LUT, and the right photo uses the BT2020_709WideDR_65_FF_Ver.2.0 LUT, which has a more natural look to it. If you want these LUTs to be available for quick access in Adobe Premiere, you can add them to the “Basic Correction Dropdown Menu by copying the LUTs to this folder:

December 20, 2021 - Canon has some LUTs on their site that helps color grade the LOG footage. I downloaded the ZIP file and got many more files than I was expecting. The PDF/TXT files don't reveal much.

February 13, 2020 - So with that being said there is no real reason for the average user, much less someone with a DSLR to be shooting in Rec 2020. Rec 709 is still more than enough for the average user. Even most professionals don't need to leave Rec 709. I'll also add that LUTs are not meant to be a tool to grade your footage.

August 29, 2024 - You didn't mention what country you're in, or what camera you're using, but for LUTs, I don't think it matters. So if you are in the USA, and your camera is a C70, for example, you can go here: https://www.usa.canon.com/support/p/eos-c70?tab=drivers_downloads · Look for Downloads, Software and Drivers, and then "Canon lookup table Version 201911". Probably this will work for any country or camera, but it's worth finding the correct website for your country and camera and bookmarking it, because that's where you'll get things like firmware updates.

May 12, 2016 - You could convert these LUTs to the Resolve "modern"/Adobe/Iridas variant of .cube using a LUT utility such as Lattice or, using Resolve itself (including the free version ) since it will read both formats. You would do this by applying one of the stock LUTs (with no other corrections) and then right-clicking on the clip's thumbnail in the clip strip and choosing "Generate 3D LUT (CUBE)." Then load the resulting file into Premiere/Lumetri."
