May 9, 2024 - Then - scanner no longer shows up in list nor works. Your troubleshooting tells me to reinstall the drivers -- I did ... then the printer no longer works (or is not recognized) ... after 5 attempts, reboots etc .. I finally got the drivers to install again and recognize the printer.

November 21, 2023 - We're sorry to belabor the issue. Canon hasn't made a printer simply called "TR4500" and that exact number wouldn't appear on the printer's casing. Instead, the exact model number varies depending on what part of the world the printer is intended for. As an example, if you're in North America, you probably have the PIXMA TR4520, and if you're in Europe, you probably have the PIXMA TR4550.
