Hi everyone,
If you’re looking to use CapCut Pro on your PC, I’ve found a good method that involves downgrading the app. Here’s how you can do it safely without downloading anything potentially harmful from other websites:
If you’ve installed previous versions of CapCut, the files should already be on your PC.
Navigate to
C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\CapCut\Apps\where you’ll find the versions you’ve installed.Open the folder of the version you want to use and run
CapCut.exefrom there. (don't use the one in the apps folder)
Note: Projects saved in newer versions won’t work with the downgraded version. You’ll need to create new projects using the old version and consider deleting the new version completely if you prefer to stick with the old one.
I switched From Using the Latest Version of Capcut to a older Version because it doesn't have all the AI Features, CapCut Pro and it has a more Simple Design. If you want to download the older Versions.

PS I'm a ex-CapCut user, moved on to Davinci Resolve. But I'm keeping this list up to date to help the community. I won't answer about which version has what because I really don't know. I never found links for MacOS/Mobile, sorry.
I created this tool years ago. It's a CapCut AutoCaptions exporter to .srt. https://capcut-srt-export.vogelcodes.com/ It's still working with many active users.
