Good quality multi port 12V type-C car charger that doesn't overheat
Car USB-C Fast Charger with USB-A Passthrough for CarPlay?
TESTED and SAFE USB-C Car Charger??
All chargers are safe, it was USB C cables that where the issue for a while (because most of them where USB-A to USB-C).
If you want fastest possible charger get one that support USB-C PD and use a C to C cable. Anker is always a safe choice.

Best Dual USB-C car charger with 30w charging in both ports?
Hi all,
I don't know if such a product exists but I'm looking for a multi port type-C car charger that has at least 1 100W port and that supports 15/20V output when requested.
I've tried the Baseus 160W adapter linked below.

This got really hot in winter here in the UK using a 12V 12Ah LFP battery charging a Surface Pro 9 and a few type-A devices non QC based so not pulling too much current. I took this to India for 6 weeks in December/January local temps were hitting the low 30s during the day one day the plastic cracked all around the negative connectors and the center positive was burning hot to the touch literally.
Please could anyone recommend something similar that can sustain at least 65W for the Pro 9 ideally 100W for high power laptops?
I've got a 12/24V 100W type-C adapter that can sustain a true 100W at 20V from a 12V car socket but its bulkey as it uses a rectangular brick similar to a laptop brick.
Thanks all.
In most cars with wired CarPlay that have a USB-A port, the downside is the USB-A ports provide very slow charging. One can simply get a car outlet to usb-c fast charger, but then can't use CarPlay. Have an after market Wireless CarPlay adapter, however slight delay each time starting up but the bigger issue is there is an audio delay which is noticeable when passenger watching videos, or when I'm on a phone call, there is a delay which can be frustrating. Unless there is an aftermarket CarPlay system that has 0 audio delay (like with wired?). The other issue with wireless carplay (at least after market), is of often the phone can connect to it even when I'm not driving, such as if I get something out of the car. All said, wired avoids all those problems except the charging issue.
Is there some type of adapter to do both? Something like a car outlet to usb-c fast charger that the phone plugins into, but that also has a usb-a wire coming out of it that plugs into the cars carplay usb-a port? Or does that type of device not exist because there is no way to fast charge and pass through data to the cars usb-a?
