uggggh….

1. It’s just plain tacky.

2. Covering nearly every inch of your car in Christmas lights simply because you’re following a social media trend takes away any and all originality from the idea. (Admittedly, seeing such a vehicle for the first time does have a bit of a wow factor, but after seeing it for the 100th time you realize it is simply not that unique of a concept anymore.)

3. The expense of just the lights alone (not to mention the hundreds, if not thousands, of suction cups/adhesives/whatever else is used to secure the lights) is such a waste of money.

4. The amount of time and TEDIOUS WORK necessary to assemble said tacky trend is crazy.

5. It is a visual distraction for other drivers which is never a good thing on the road.

6. Isn’t it illegal in some states or counties?

I live in Wisconsin and wanted to do this but I was about to do it and then realized this might not be legal. I did some research and it was so wide range. Some said it was completely legal and others saying it legal with certain colors and others just flat out said it was illegal. I really want to do this so if someone could tell me if it's OK please let me know.

hello everyone, this is going to be a strange request but i have a idea of what i want to do to decorate my car for christmas this year but now know exactly how to accomplish said goal, im not sure if anyone might be down to help but if you are familiar with christmas lights/ led strips please let me know!
