I owned a PX-160 for the first year I was learning piano, and the only reason I don't still have it is that I gave it to my sister when I upgraded to a Kawai CA99. The Privia PX-160 is an instrument that's fairly comparable to the P-45 -- it's a solid entry level digital piano. It sold for $500 new for most of its lifetime (it went up to $550 as they were phasing it out.) $300 for it isn't a bad price at all. Unless you're just more comfortable buying new, I would choose a $300 PX-160 over a $550 P-45. The P-125 would be a small step up from the PX-160 or the P-45 -- if I already owned a PX-160, I would not consider a P-125 a worthwhile upgrade, but for someone that's looking to buy one or the other, it really comes down to whether you're willing to spend the extra money for a slight increase in quality. There's no objective right or wrong answer to that one -- if you like the P-125 better, you might consider it worth the extra money. Alternately, you may not notice much of a difference between them, in which case it probably isn't worth the extra money to you. Answer from Tyrnis on reddit.com

Deciding between a Yamaha P115 or Casio Privia PX160 - Help!
Just some added context: I just listened to some blind comparison tests and the Yamaha definitely sounded better to my ear. Could others confirm/deny this, would this be something to worry about if I went with the Casio? More on reddit.com

r/piano on Reddit: Should I buy a Casio PX-160 for $300 as a beginner keyboard?
April 15, 2022 -

Hello everyone, I am a beginner and found a used Casio PX-160 for $400 and brought the seller down to $300. Do y’all think this is a good deal?

Or should I just spend a little more on a Yamaha P-45 or P-125?

Casio PX-160 - REVIEW | Low Price Portable Digital Piano
January 1, 2021 - Please read my review below to learn more about the prior PX-160. There are 4 companies worth considering when it comes to digital pianos in this low price range and those companies are Casio, Korg, Yamaha, and Roland. All the · others (off-brands) pale in comparison in my opinion with some of those other brands being of very poor quality. In my opinion one of the best digital pianos out there is the lightweight (weighs only 26lbs) Casio Privia PX 160 at $549US internet discount price not including optional stand or triple pedalbar.
