Hi,

Yesterday I purchased the Security+ CE Certmaster to renew my certification that's expiring a little later this year. Made about 2/5 into it and wanted to resume where I left off.

Only thing is, my password no longer works and the password reset doesn't send to my email. Unsure if there's maintenance or something wrong with my account all of a sudden and I would have to call someone to get it fixed? Was wondering if it's happening to anyone else?

EDIT: Nevermind, I got in a different way. login.comptia.org from my confirmation email, then rerouted to my learning.

Strange issue.

CompTIA switched to single sign on last year so you wouldn't need separate credentials for signing up for exams, accessing CertMaster resources, and accessing the Certmetrics site to keep track of your credentials.

I received my Net+ exam over a year ago. Started studying for my Sec+, but couldn't remember my certmetrics password to log in and purchase the exam. I've been going back and forth between CompTIA support about resetting my password. When I first tried to reset it through certmetrics by providing my email and last name. It said it couldn't find an account associated with the email. I start talking to support and they ask for my Certification, my email, and address. I provided those things and also my CompTIA ID. Now they're asking for my driver's license (photo copy ID).

Should I have to provide them a copy of my photo ID?

I'm wondering if there's any way to make a "clickable" link to my certification.

I tried something like https://www.certmetrics.com/comptia/public/verification.aspx?txtVerificationCode=ABCDEF0123456789, but that didn't pre-fill the verification code.

Does CompTIA offer any easy-to-click function to verify a certificate is up to date?

EDIT: bah. the solution was even simpler than I thought.

I got my 50+ CEUs and went to pay my fees and upload the CEUs but the CompTIA website has changed and my login info wasn't working. Created a new login and can't access anything now. Anyone have this issue?

The system changed a year ago for their new integration with Pearson Vue and the new SSO. It sounds like you haven't been in your account since before that change. You will have to contact customer service at CompTIA on Monday and have them re-associate your account so you can use the new SSO. https://login.comptia.org should be referring you to sso.comptia.org if you are setup correctly. Once there you should be going to access your certifications. And there you can add ceus and pay ce fees.

Today I passed my Security + 501 exam through the pearson online system. I was sent to the congratulation screen where it showed I passed and showed the score and then the window closed and I'm not for sure where to get a copy of the certificate. I was told to go to the Comptia certificate page so I went there and created an account but it still doesn't show up. What is the normal process to get a copy of your certificate?

Did you create a login on the CompTIA page or on the Certification login on the left side of that same login page? They will mail you one eventually too.
