WDIV Local 4 weather department - what's going on with the inconsistencies of forecaster presence?

I used to watch channel 4 every morning for news and weather. It was always Brandon for the weather and Kim D for traffic. Once in a while, Paul Gross would fill in when Brandon was on vacay. Then my work hours changed at the beginning of '22, and I don't really watch it much anymore. Tuned in recently on a day I had off and hardly recognized anyone! I know Paul G retired, so maybe Brandon moved to more of an office position? And Kim D is doing more reporting/soft news stuff instead of weather? I think there could also be some maternity leaves involved as well, but like I said, I don't watch it much anymore. I started to see the "news" was often ads and promotions for things instead of more investigative reporting. Sorry that's not much help. More on reddit.com

They have been changing things like crazy. I don’t really watch anymore because the news is shitty (no matter what channel you watch), but Local 4 has gone below the basement with their line up. They want the old out and the new in.

I've noticed there's been a lot of inconsistency lately in the past several months at this station in terms of weather forecasters. Anyone seen Brandon Roux? Haven't seen him on a video forecast on ClickOnDetroit for a bit, even though he does weekend mornings. Also it seems Bryan Schuerman has been handling weekends and weekdays. I'll notice Kim Adams will be gone a day or 2 or week, and it seems like she's been gone more times than she's been there the past several months. What's going on with this inconsistency and absence of a stable forecaster? This back-and-forth is a real turn off for me because of the randomness, and I might just ditch 4 for 7 or 2 in terms of weather. This station needs to start prioritizing organization, starting with its weather department.
