February 12, 2014 - Did you read LATCH portion of the Nextfit manual? The LATCH straps must be pulled in a specific order in order to work correctly. Also, you only check for movement at the belt path. It can move up to 1" side to side and/or front to back when you use your non-dominant hand to give it a wiggle--just like you're giving someone a firm handshake. Movement anywhere else is normal and safe. The seat will not fall over if the LATCH or seatbelt (never both at the same time!) is used correctly.
