I want to be giddy while watching. I’ve been watching a bunch lately and a lot of the times I feel like the woman or man is stiff (or too theater and not believable) and they might not even like each other lol but hallmark Christmas movies are my guilty pleasure now and when they’re good they’re great!
As an example I loved: A December Bride (Daniel Lissing & Jessica Lowndes). And I think Jessica Lowndes is great! And I enjoy Lacey Chabert!
Please recommend more hallmark Christmas movies for me :) like I said, I want to be GIDDY!!
EDIt: Thank you for all my suggestions!!! Even my husband is interested in some of them haha
Christmas season is essentially here and this year I decided to give Hallmark movies a try. I’ve only ever seen 2 Christmas movies from the channel- not fully grasping they were Hallmark movies until midway through. Surprisingly I was really enjoying those movies but never got the need to see more until now.
The two movies I’ve watched were “A Dog named Christmas” and “Silver Bells”. (Note: I had to google the name of these movies before this post.)
Sometimes I will see commercials or clips of the more newer Hallmark Christmas movies and they don’t give off the same vibe as these two movies I’ve seen. Hence, why I have had no interest in seeing more.
For someone like me or someone who has never seen a Hallmark Christmas movie. What are your top 5 or so movies that you would highly recommend? Movies that will impress a non-Hallmark viewer. Thanks!
EDIT: Thanks everyone for the suggestions! I see a lot of repeated titles so I’m gonna start with those :)
I’m looking for the sweetest, most romantic Hallmark movies where the romance truly takes center stage. Not just a “good movie,” but ones with strong chemistry, a guy who goes all in for the girl, big gestures, heartfelt moments, and genuine love.
