I’ve tried everything but I simply don’t see an option, as they mention on their website, to opt in for virtual card numbers after adding my card to Google Wallet.
Anyone who’s enrolled theirs already, how do you do it?

On what devices and browsers can I use virtual cards through Google Pay to check out?
What are virtual cards through Google Pay?
How do I manage my virtual cards that I create through Google Pay?
My email received “Earn $20 cash back when you spend $200+ with a virtual card number on Google Chrome”. It must be used in chrome, I am not sure is there anyone has experience on this? Can I use the virtual card?
Best wishes!
I recently upgraded from Windows 10 to Windows 11. Since then I'm struggling to get Chrome to act the way it used to. Before when I would click in a credit card field during checkout Chrome would prompt me to pick a credit card from Google Pay. Then after selecting one it would give me a prompt for verifying the card with the CVC number. I like this setup, however I can't for the life of me get Chrome to do this now. I have seen quite a few posts and forums referencing a "Always verify when using autofill” setting, but that doesn't exist, I only have the settings below. When I try to enable the "Manually verify..." setting it wants to do something with my local Windows account. How can I get it to prompt me for verification via the CVC?
I used to have no problem using my saved credit card on my phone. But recently good has started to happen:
Go to payment screen and click on credit card, chrome offers to auto fill with my saved card
I click on the saved card and it asks for my CVC to confirm
I enter the CVC and it's accepted
Then google asks me to confirm it's me using either my phone password or my fingerprint
I confirm it's me and the prompt disappears but the payment form is empty
This ends with me manually filling in all the credit card info. I don't remember being asked to confirm my identity before and it seems to be short circuiting the autofill process.
