I did some digging with the Wayback Machine - that help page is new as of today. The prior version only mentioned the Max plan. Now that Claude Code is out of "preview" they're probably planning to open it up to the Pro tier, but there's been no announcement or anything. Likely this page got updated too early by mistake. I don't understand. Everywhere I go, every route I take to trying to login to claude takes me to their onboarding page at "https://claude.ai/onboarding"

This just prompts me to create an account. I put in my phone # and enter the verification code and it says # in use, use a different number.

This is literally insane.

So you already have an account, but can't get to the login? To see if it's your browser that has cached the Web app in a weird state, try logging in after putting your browser into Private / Incognito mode. Or just try (temporarily) logging in with a different browser. For what it's worth, the direct login for me is https://claude.ai .

Anthropic website says that Claude Code is available with the Pro Plan, after installations (v1.0.10) login is only available with your own token or max plan. Is this a bug?

Now that Claude Code is out of "preview" they're probably planning to open it up to the Pro tier, but there's been no announcement or anything. Likely this page got updated too early by mistake.

This was a launch fail. I thought we were unleashed to use Claude on Pro, so I upgraded and did the /login command. Then I ran it for a couple hours. Later that day, I got an email saying my API tokens had been refilled. 😕 It says it's using my Pro plan but it wasn't. Shady. /status output: https://share.zight.com/yAuRekDK
