March 22, 2026 - Codeforces (Russian: Кодфорсес) is a website that hosts competitive programming contests. It is maintained by a group of competitive programmers from ITMO University led by Mikhail Mirzayanov. Since 2013, Codeforces claims to surpass TopCoder in terms of active contestants.

May 21, 2018 - But Wikipedia is a quick way to verify that, for example, HackerRank is written in camel case, but Topcoder isn’t. (There’s no way to tell from the Topcoder logo). As I was browsing competitive programming topics, I noticed that Codeforces (also not written in camel case) had no Wikipedia article.

It is somewhat strange for me, since Codeforces is steaming extremely well, seemingly surpassing Topcoder by popularity and many other sites moreover. Perhaps some people will decide to invest time and recreate/improve such a page.
