Ok; I'll take a stab at this, then. First off, the most important questions: What exactly are you looking for? An entire bedding set (sheets, duvet, duvet insert, pillows, bed skirt, bed blankets or coverlets, etc.) or just specific items? You need to be as specific as possible otherwise everyone will just be guessing what you want and throw out individual things (like the essentials: sheets, duvet, duvet insert, pillows). How much are you willing to spend for everything? If you want to get a duvet, duvet insert, pillows, sheet set, etc. the entire works, what's the absolute maximum you're willing to spend? It'll also help if you have a max limit for each individual thing you want to buy. Like, "I'm willing to spend X amount for my sheets. I'm willing to spend X amount on pillows, etc." What fabrics are you wanting? Do you want silk sheets, cotton or linen? Do you want a linen duvet or a cotton or silk one? Etc. Etc. What temp do you keep your room at and are you a hot sleeper or a cold sleeper? I recently learned that my previous bedding setup was trapping heat like crazy (it was all made of plastic) and once I got a lightweight cotton sheet set, a linen duvet and a silk duvet insert I've been sleeping better than I ever have. If your room temp fluctuates during the year (opening the windows for chilly breezes during spring/fall and turning off the air/heater) that's important to know, too, because if you get a duvet insert (which I highly recommend) then you'll want to know which 'weight or season' is best for your room temps. Are you OK with solid colors (and not patterns or print images) because, ngl, almost 99% of all pattern/print comforters or duvets are plastic products. Plastic might be pretty to own design-wise, but it sucks the big one to wash (it takes forever to dry plastic products.. like three dryer cycles on low because any higher could melt or warp it) and it traps heat like crazy.
