Hi everyone!
I'm in the early stages of planning a fairly significant home renovation. So far, I know I want dark hardwood running through most of the top floor (split level house--we've got a large living/dining area, 3 bedrooms, and a bathroom on the top floor). I don't want to run hardwood through the kitchen, but I do want it to match the rest of the floor to help give the kitchen an airier feeling, as it's a pretty small space.
I'm not a fan of most tile, so I'm thinking of installing cork tiles that are similar in tone to the hardwood. The kitchen doesn't get a ton of natural light, so I'm not too worried about fading, and I'm aware that it will need to be sealed. Has anyone installed cork in their kitchen, or have any insight on that idea? I'd appreciate any thoughts.
