How to Grow and Care for Corsican Mint
June 5, 2023 - Corsican mint, also known as Mentha requienii, is perennial in warmer zones, from 7 to 11. It bears very tiny pale purple flowers in summer, somewhat similar in appearance to creeping thyme. Also like creeping thyme, the tiny leaves of this herb make it suitable for growing around stepping stones or walkways where it provides a fresh burst of scent when stepped on.

November 30, 2010 - I unleashed apple mint, spearmint, and orange mint into my garden last year and potted up all the newly rooting offsets this year. My main criteria are: good coverage (lawn like), takes light to moderate traffic and would prefer somewhat drought tolerant. I've considered dymondia which is popular right now, but I want this area in my front lawn to be more green. I'm using the dymondia for my entire side lawn. According to what I read, the corsican mint seems to be faster growing but takes more water.
