For the same price more or less, I would get the V15 no question. At this point the V11 is going on 4 years old and the V15 is the newest technology, why wouldn't you want that? On paper the V15 is a better vacuum in every sense too, so you're at least getting the same (or likely better) performance from the V15 vs the V11. The Costco warranty is nice, but Dyson comes with a 2 year warranty and if you purchase on a credit card that that offers extended warranty you get an additional year, which is enough for me to purchase the V15. Just grabbed one @ my warehouse. They had a Display near the registers and also in the normal aisle w vacuums. Probably gone by now but good luck. FWIW I am returning a v8 animal+ due to too short battery life (1400sq ft house). Just gave the v11 a trial run, super impressed well worth it. TLDR; v8 for apartments, v11 for house.

Dysons most recent, and undeniable, problem is in customer support. You want the Costco Dyson as then you get their support and it’s excellent. Generally, different versions with different accessory kits is how Dyson works. Very minor differences - up to an including “I’m looking at both and i can’t tell what the difference is” - it’s something dumb like a little elbow to make the accessories flexible or a small clip to attach accessories to the stick. Whatever it is, you probably didn’t want it and are unlikely to use it. To be clear I have no answer to your actual question. Felt this context was still worthwhile. More on reddit.com
