Hello everybody!
I wanted to see if anybody has had any experience with making use of Costco's loss and damage warranty. My mom lost both her hearing aids. This has happened a few of times before, but we would eventually find them. It's been more than a week now and it's been hard for her.
Does Costco make it difficult to make use of the warranty or is it a fairly easy process. She's had the hearing aids (Jabra) since last August.

I've had my KS10.0 hearing aids for a year and lately, when I take them from the charger in the morning, one will be less than fully charged, perhaps 56%, 20%, or even 0%. I went to the local Costco Hearing Center and they said they could send my HAs and charger in for service but it would take 10 days to 2 weeks to get them back. This is not an option for because I need my HAs for work. Is this the standard policy across all Costcos? Should I go to a different Costco for warranty service?

I have Phillips 9040 still under warranty from Costco.
After a long period of not using them, I have attempted to charge them today and the left one is not taking a charge.
I called my hearing center and they told me they handle the warranty. Phillips will inspect it and something will happen, I assume repair or replacement.
The guy was kind of curt and matter of fact. I’m nervous because there is no Costco within four hours of me, so I have to handle this through the mail.
He told me I could send one or both. Thoughts on this? I don’t mind sending both as I don’t rely on them, I haven’t used them in about a year, but I’m looking forward to getting back on the horse with this.
I think I will put a full charge on the right one and see if there is any loss of battery life, I kinda suspect there will be. I don’t recall what battery life should be, anyone know? I understand it’s contingent on mode and use, and I can get back to anyone in the next couple of days to indicate how I used them.
Anyone had this happen? How was it resolved? If they replace them does a new three year warranty start? Any idea the likelihood of repair or replacement, timeline, etc?
