It's Spring so I'm considering finally buying patio furniture. I wonder if folks have mid/long-term experiences from buying patio furniture from Costco?
Some additional info:
Budget is around $2000
Patio space is rectangular 14fx26ft (364sqft), would prefer to leave enough room to where it feels somewhat open
Mostly shaded, so dark vs light materials are not important
Would prefer to bring my own fire pit, not have one supplied
Prefer very low maintenance materials, but happy to store cushions away from the rain
Questions:
Do folks generally recommend getting it delivered from Costco.com to avoid having to transport the furniture themselves and get more options?
Do you have a preferred material that works better for your climate? I'm in NorCal, so mostly temperate with dry summers, 3-4 months of coldish rain in the winters.
Swivel chair vs non-swivel. This moving piece seems like a likely point of failure — thoughts?

FYI that clifton set is going to be $400 off between March 5 and 30 (I THINK I have the dates right). The clifton outdoor 7 piece dining set will also be $400 off! I have my eye on both sets, we have a LOT of deck space and a bit of paved patio space, none is furnished, so I think we're gonna bite the bullet and buy both sets, and get an extra $100 off too since it's part of that whole "costco direct" buy more save more deal. I say go with ordering online- Yes it is much easier getting the heavy stuff. I saw the size of the boxes that these sets come in, and unless you rent a delivery truck then you will have issues.

We bought two sets last year. Both are “wicker,” one SunVilla and one Sunbrella; both were ordered online and delivered by Costco. We’re in the South Bay; they get some direct sun but still look brand new. I’d estimate they’ll look reasonably good for at least another 5 years as long as we keep them out of the blistering summer afternoon sun.
