We’d like a gazebo, and the Yardistry ones look nice. Costco currently has the 12x12 on sale for $1600, but the smaller 12x10 is normally priced at $1800.

Does anyone have insight into whether we can expect the 12x10 to go on sale next? I think either size could work, but the 12x10 may fit our space better.
UPDATE: We went to Lowes last night to see one of their metal framed gazebos, then compared it to the Yardistry at Costco... they have a 12x14 set up at our local store.
The Costo wood framed one is so much more solid and stable. After measuring our space some more, we agreed the 12x12 should work out fine, so we went with that one. Thanks for the replies.

If both fit, I recommend going bigger. I set up a 12x20 last year because it was cheaper than the 12x16 and I’m glad I got the extra space. I bought an outdoor table and chairs and that takes up nearly half (12x10) of mine leaving the other half for a sofa and chairs.

I've been interested in buying a 12x12 Yardistry Gazebo for my backyard as I have no covered space whatsoever. I like the way they look and build quality seems decent for something I can just assemble BUT I'm afraid of the longevity of it. I do have quite a few neighbors with them but with the amount of rainfall and moisture we have in the PNW, I feel like it may only last 3-5 years.
How long have you had yours and what sort of pain has it been through? Would you buy again or recommend it to others?

I'm on year 5 of mine in Minnesota. Has held up very well to the weather here. The roof took a beating in the May 19 regional hailstorm last year, but it's just dents, so no big deal. I stained it last spring for the first time since it was built. It's substantially cheaper than building one yourself, but the wood is lighter weight, and the metal roof heats up, so on hot days it gets pretty warm underneath. Hang a ceiling fan or a wall-mount oscillating fan on one of the posts and that'll help. I'd buy it again, but the one big deal is the assembly. It's pretty time consuming, with a lot of parts to put together, plus you need at least three people with some strength to lift the roof panels up and fasten them in place.

Installed the 12x14 gazebo in 2018, very happy with it. Only complaint is that the installation directions could be more clear, plus they could be rewritten to have you perform certain steps in the assembly more efficiently. But their online assembly videos are a big help.

November 1, 2021 - I made that choice because we almost never get high winds in my area (this year being the exception), plus it's in a very sheltered location, with buildings blocking the wind from two directions, and tree windbreaks in the other two directions. Which means those 65 mph winds were most likely much lower in the immediate vicinity of my gazebo. Yardistry rates them for 60 mph when anchored.
