Which SIM do you have? Is your cricket logo on a green background, or in the entire sim a white background? Certain features seem to only light up with the white SIM.
I just got my Samsung Z Fold2 to connect to 5G yesterday, after switching to the white SIM, but it didn't light up right away because I had changed some other settings trying to get 5G before. I can walk you through what all I did if you would like to try.
The other thing to know is that most of what you'll get is "nationwide 5G", which is rarely much better than LTE. The true gigabit speeds only come with 5G+ (AT&T/Cricket's brand for millimeter wave) which is only in a small set of cities, and even then will be extremely spotty. Can someone explain to me what the Cricket coverage map is showing? Specifically, are the dark green areas 5G or LTE or both? Is the light green area voice service only or is data available? The coverage map has no legend to it to signify what the colors mean. Very frustrating. Thanks!
