Hi folks, so I have a few really nice CRT monitors but I've run into the problem of them being too "good", they sort of just look like a modern screen and don't feature much blurring or scanlines (unless I'm at 480p) or what have you. I was thinking of just running a shader or filter, but I'd like it to be global or be active constantly, not game/retroarch/emulator specific as I watch old shows and what not on them as well as games. Could anyone recommend me such a thing if it exists?
Thanks!
Edit: Found out that crt-royale has been ported to reshade so all good!
crt filter for my pc monitor?
Best retro-TV CRT/VHS effects that pay a lot of attention to modeling analogue imperfections?
Is this an accurate showcase for how CRTs are better for old games or is this blown way out of proportion?
I recently started embracing CRT filters in emulators and I am BLOWN AWAY.
