I would answer: Nothing, except the Apple Pencil and a keyboard. I see others recommending a ton of stuff. But then you don't really have an iPad. You have turned it into a whole IT-department or a primitive laptop. What you need is finding the right software to use on the iPad. So you can use the iPad as an iPad as not as an inferior laptop with an insufficient operating system when it comes to file handling. So by overloading yourself with "accessories" you really defy the purpose of having an iPad. And you overlook that an iPad will never become a laptop-like computer with the model name iPad. It is not a "MacFlat". You new iPad Pro has a feature you might want to explore: Scanning 3D objects and rooms by using the "LIDAR" hardware which only is in the Pro models. You use it with apps like Polycam. If you "must" add accessories then start with a set of AirPods Pro so you get perfect sound and "spatial audio" when watching movies. More on reddit.com

First and foremost, you will want a grip. The Apple Pencil is just too slim to use for drawing extensively. I have used 3rd party grips but the caveat is you have to remove for charging unless you don’t have a case on the iPad itself (excluding folio cases). I am using the paperlike grip, The groove is deep enough to retain double tap and squeeze gestures and I was able to still charge my pencil with a case on. For cases you are going to want cases that have low angles (25 degrees or less). I recommend: Zugu, ESR magnetic Shift, and Tomtoc Vertical (this one will be just a folio without a case). I have used all 3 and decided to stick with the Tomtoc as I never drop my iPad and it’s covered by AppleCare anyway. Note that if you choose to go with Zugu, you will have to remove the pencil grip to charge every time since the pencil holder does not have room. Screen Protector, I am using the ESR paperfeel (not the magnetic version). It feels great and loving it so far. I think any other matte screen protectors will work similarly, even the cheaper ones. Extras: If you want a more tactile feedback, consider looking into the paperlike pencil tips. They are harder than the soft ones that come on the Apple Pencil.
