I tried to sign up for the official API and it fails. I can try some more IPs but my gut is saying they suffer from china vpn aversion syndrome. 8k output isn't that bad tbh. Never had it go crazy thinking even a fraction of that long. The speed isn't great either, taking 2x to 3x as long as gpt-4o-mini. Are you using V3 or R1? You mention reasoning. All those thought tokens don't come for free. V3 replies were pretty quick when I used that. R1 is slower than my local models. More on reddit.com
