The pre-installed OS of my computer is Windows 10, so the image file downloaded for me by the OS recovery tool is also W10 instead of W11. I want to reinstall W11, should I use the Media Creation Tool to install W11 directly, or use the OS Recovery Tool to install W10 and immediately upgrade to W11?

Do you specifically need W11? If not, (my opinion is to) stick with 10. 10 is a bit less Big Brother (spyware OS) than 11. There is 10 that is modified to not have whatever you want (like BitLocker, Skype, or even the MS Store). Personally, I'd rather everyone use a Linux distribution because W11 needs to die. Sorry, I'll rant somewhere else.
