I'm trying to decipher the confusing (at least to me) array of 20v grinders out there, and I can't really make heads or tails of it, and I my google-fu is failing me in that I can't find a comprehensive comparison chart of all the different flavors out there.
I'm in a slow hunt for that killer deal either new or used for a good mid-highend cordless grinder. I don't need a 7" beast that will rip my arm off, take off down the road and kill the grandma sitting on the porch 3 doors down if it gets loose. But, I don't want the cheapest weakest thing out there either. I'm slowly loosing my corded grinders to my kid who has his half of the garage dedicated to his own metal working, and I'm fine with that if I can find a worthy cordless replacement. Don't really need any more batts or chargers, not entirely against going 60v if its an option and I can find a used one within range of a new 20v one. I don't have any 60v stuff now, but the 60v lawn and garden blowers, trimmers and etc are enticing.
Majority of my use will be DIY homeowner that does some metal working, welding, but not for long stretches. Don't need to hog away at miles of welds, but don't want one that will stall easily either.

Whats the best 20v compact grinder?
I was looking at the DCG416B, but kind of confused with al the various 20v models.
I was leaning towards something that can use 60v /20v or maybe FLEXVOLT because a grinder seems like to would eat up batteries quickly, but I'd also rather have something compact.
I don;t know enough about them to know whether I'd prefer a paddle switch or a side switch, thats what is also making to hard to decide. Whats better side switch pr paddle?
Dcg412 or dcg413? Ones brushed, ones brushless, i know. But what is everyone's experiences with either of these? I need one for occasional light use. Sharpening a mower blade, cutting metal.
Looking to pick up a new 20v grinder…. Debating between the Home Depot deal that comes with DCG410VSB + 8ah XR power pack, or the DCG413B on Amazon which is heavily deducted in price at the moment… my question is what is the major differences between DCG413B and DCG410VSB.
Thank you!
